Went to a sick party here on Saturday night, DJ Deity was going off up in the cloisters. Was so mashed that I knocked over the collection plate on the way out - sorry dudes.
Lovely church with retro red brick appearance on the outside but reminiscent of Mediterranean ecclesiastical architecture on the inside. Priest welcomed me, my wife & kids as if we were old friends. Will definitely return when next in the area.
They completely lack warmth at this church. I came as a visitor, so I was only going to be attending one Sunday. The service was word for word like the Mass I attend at home, but it felt completely empty. I felt like I could have better used my time praising God in front of my bathroom mirror than here. I went to the priest after Mass to say hello, he was unbelievably rude and could not get away from me fast enough, even though I said one sentence to him and was not looking for a conversation.
