Disappointed and overrated. Yeah the whole bowls club venue and local vibe is cool. But the food... well not good at all. 2 times Brisket was dry and like leather. Mac & Cheese was powdery. Fried chicken was not good at all. Ive eaten smoked bbq all over the world. And this was the worst. Sorry guys :-)
Not recommendedthe food was dreadful, the fish was not fresh my partner did not eat her meal, the hot chips were good and the place is child friendly, hence the one star, never again :(
This is a must visit if youre in the area or travelling on the highway... amazing food, great menu, very chilled atmosphere and only 2mins off the highway
The most superb Southern Fried Chicken ever! The pork is also ravishingly succulent. Even the sausage was high quality and nicely spiced. Well prepared and cleverly seasoned food. Very spacious with lovely outdoor seating next to the lawn bowling uh...lawn. Nice indoor decoration and decent selection of beers and desserts. Suitable for families and big groups, but best to book during weekends. Staff were most pleasant and attentive. Hard to fault this popular joint in Bangalow. Perhaps could add green eggs and ham next to that eggplant burger.
By far the best Southern Fried chicken I have had. Quick prompt service. If you love meat this place is for you.
